The South Korean Company LG has officially started rolling new software update for LG G7 thinQ Project Fi which upgrades the device version to G710ULM10G. The update brings nothing new except some minor bug fixes and improvements along with the October 2018 Security Patch. There is no information when LG will roll out Android Pie for this device.

As per the update, this update is rolling via OTA and will soon reach those who already purchased LG G7 thinQ with model LMG710UL. Go to settings—> about phone —> system update

Before proceeding, please make sure your phone has enough charge of at least 50%, take a full backup before upgrading or downgrading your phone. To download the OTA file, you should be on a stable WiFi connection to enjoy uninterrupted software download.
