How to Install MIUI 9 8.3.29 Global Beta ROM on Xiaomi Devices

Before performing the installation,  Note:-

  • Take a full backup of your device data before updating.
  • The following ROMs are for Xiaomi devices exclusively. Don’t use them on other devices.
  • Ensure your device has a full battery charge.

We will use two methods to flash the Global Beta ROM on Xiaomi devices. One method is by local update through Updater App in the device. Another method is by the fastboot method.

Steps To Install MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM using Updater App

Step-1 Download the Recovery ROM for your respective device.

Step-2  Connect your device to PC/laptop and copy the downloaded file to the downloaded_rom folder in your Internal Storage of the device.

Step-3 Now Launch ‘Updater‘ app on your device.

Step-4 Click on the three dots (‘…’) at the top-right corner, > select the ‘choose update package‘.

Step-5  Tap OK to start the ROM update process.

Step-6  The device will reboot after the flashing is complete.
